Hi QB community. My invoice list of sales (150 lines), prints out invoice list in wrong sequence... does any one have a solution to maintain intended order list? Thanks

it's important I keep categories and regions of sales together. However when printing or emailing out all the orders are jumbled up!

Let me explain why your invoice gets jumbled up when you print and send it, newell.

The sequence will depend on your Service date. If your date is in sequence, it will appear in the correct order when previewing the invoice page.

However, it will be jumbled up if your service date isn't in sequence. QuickBooks sorts the items from the oldest to the latest date.  See the screenshot below:

If this isn't the case, then let's proceed with updating and repairing the Adobe Reader to fix the issue. This way, your print reader will have the latest features and updates. To do that, please see this article: How to update, repair, or re-install Adobe Reader/Acrobat

On the other hand, you'd normally receive an invoice with the correct line items sequence when emailing it. Since you got a different result, we can perform basic troubleshooting. You can follow to this module for the details steps: Clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online.

I'm always here if you need additional help. Have a great day!
