Question

Hi there, does anyone know how to alter the app so that the receipt scanner recognises UK dates? Just realised that it has translated every single receipt into USA date format. :-(

Your concern ends here, @jb108.

It's possible that the app you're using is for the US version. You'll want to make sure that the app you installed is for the UK version. This way, it'll recognise the UK dates, instead of the US. You can go to this link to download the correct app for UK: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/uk/mobile-apps/.

However, if you're using the UK version of the application and still recognising the US date format, I suggest contacting our QuickBooks Support Team. One of our support agents will investigate this issue further and provide additional troubleshooting steps to get this resolve.

I'm also adding this article to learn more about creating transactions from a receipt image: Record or attach expense receipts in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

Keep in touch if you need any more assistance with this, or there's something else I can do for you. I've got your back. Have a good day.
