Hi there, is it required by law to include the national insurance number on a self employed invoice?

It is not required by law for the NI number to be on a self-employed invoice, what is required on an invoice is shown here

If you're within the scope of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS), your customer will require your NINO for Verification (but there is still no requirement for this to be shown on the invoice).
