Hi when ever I send an invoice it doesn’t show the full invoice it just shows the total amount to customers and not the breakdown,and also I’m not getting notifications when a customer opens an invoice

Let's find out why you're not seeing the breakdown when sending the invoice to your customer, userneilfranklin79.

 

You have to let your customer click the View invoice button for him/her to view the breakdown. Please see the attached screenshots below:

In addition, since QuickBook Self-Employed (QBSE) is only for simplified invoices and tracking purposes, the ability to be notified once a customer opens the invoice is only available in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
