We're glad you joined us here in the forum. Allow me to be the one to help you add your VAT details to your sales forms, trwthomas.

You can add a customized field and use it to add your own VAT Number to your invoices. This will automatically show up when creating sales transactions. I'd be glad to share these steps with you:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select All Lists.
  2. Select Custom Fields.
  3. Click Add field, then type in VAT Registration Number in the Name field.
  4. Check the box for All Sales forms, then toggle the sidebar for Print on form.
  5. Choose Save.

Once done, this field will automatically show up when creating an invoice. Then, type in your VAT Registration number and it will be part of the invoice's header when printing or sending your transactions to your customers.

You can also edit the invoice template and make sure to add the VAT summary section. This is where your customers can see the actual percentage used when calculating the tax. Here's how:

  1. Go back to the Gear icon and select Custom Form Styles.
  2. Look for the invoice template you're using, then choose Edit.
  3. Proceed to the Content tab and click the Pencil icon in the footer section of the invoice.
  4. Check the box for VAT summary.
  5. Click Done.

Additional details about the steps I shared and how you can use these features are discussed in these articles:
