Hello there, Laura.

The date range selected from the Filter menu affects how transactions are displayed on the Transactions page. That’s why you're only seeing entries from 2023.

Let's go to the Transactions page and set the correct date range to fix the issue. I'm here to help ensure the process is a breeze for you.

Here's how:

  1. In your company, head to the Transactions menu on the left panel.
  2. This action will direct you to a page that shows the list of entries recorded to your account.
  3. From there, click the date range drop-down and select the correct period. For example, Last year.

If you've connected your bank account for the first time, QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) downloads 30 to 90 days of transactions, and in some cases up to a year. However, you can manually import your bank data into the program to keep your records in order. I also suggest contacting your Financial Institution (FI) to check if they can help bring the entries.

After downloading, make sure to classify transactions on the correct line Self Assessment tax return (SA103F). I've included a link that provides information on how to use rules to quickly categorise recent and past transactions: Create rules to speed up reviews in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

To help you navigate to the program and accomplish your tasks on time, you can utilize the articles in this link: QBSE guide. Simply head to the topic board to easily find the resource you need.

Reach out to me again if you have other product concerns or additional questions on how to handle your transactions. I'm always ready to lend a helping hand.
