I appreciate you for returning to this thread and providing an update about your concern, @EddieUK. Let's ensure you'll be able to go directly to the Home link when clicking the QuickBooks Online (QBO) logo at the top left.

A cache-related issue is likely causing you the inability to use the QuickBooks logo shortcut to directly access the home page. If this is the case, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to determine if the issue is related to your browser.

To start, please use a private or incognito window to rule out cache problems in your browser. You can use the following keyboard shortcuts based on the type of browser you are using:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

After opening the private window, go to the QuickBooks Online (QBO) page and try clicking the QuickBooks logo to see if it takes you to the home page. If it works, you can clear your browser's cache. This removes the webpage data that's causing the issue. If a private browser doesn't work, you can use other installed supported browsers as another option

Additionally, I'm sharing some articles to help you categorize your transactions and reconcile your accounts:

Please keep me updated on your progress, @EddieUK. I want to make sure you can go directly to the home page when clicking the QuickBooks logo.

Hello there, EddieUK.

Please know that we aim to deliver customer satisfaction at all times and address an issue as soon as possible. With this, may I ask for additional information what specific home link are you referring to? Are you accessing QuickBooks via brower or app? And, a screenshot of what happened to your end. I appreciate any further details so I can present accurate details.

Don't hesitate to click the Reply button below and add extra details about your concern, EddieUK. We're always around to help.

Clicking on the Quickbooks logo (top left) normally takes me to the home page. Clicking on the same logo now takes me to the transaction screen.

I have now added "Home" link to my bookmarks so I can now navigate to "Home" without issue. Just wondered why this has been changed? Surely the logo link should not take you to a random page.
