How can i assign a value / purchase order to a project ? Not an expense but the project value if so can I track invoiced amount and non invoiced amount ?

Let me show you how you can assign a purchase order to a project in QuickBooks Online. Here's how:

1. If you have an existing purchase order and want to assign it to a project, you can open it. If you haven't created it yet, go to the + New button.
2. Select Purchase order under the Suppliers column.
3. Enter all the details.
4. Utilize the Customer/Project Column and select the project you want to associate for this transaction.
   
   
5. Click Save or Save and close.

Then, review the transactions/ value in the Project field.

1. Go to the Projects menu and select the appropriate project.
2. Select Transactions.

Also, you'll want to check about recording billable expenses for your customers: Enter billable expenses.
