How can I format the company address on an invoice template?

Posted this question yesteday but the formatting got messed up, so trying again:

The company's street address has 2 lines, but the invoice template only has 1 field. How can I add an extra address field so the client's address formats correctly?

At present it shows:

3 Mulgrave Chambers 26-28 Mulgrave Road

Sutton

Surrey

SM2 6LE

What I need is:

3 Mulgrave Chambers

26-28 Mulgrave Road

Sutton

Surrey

SM2 6LE

The funny thing is I can do this for my own company within QBO Accountant and but not for any clients. The 'street address' seems to only allow 1 line of text?

Hello Richard96,

Welcome to the Community page,

So there is no way of being able to add another line.

We would suggest you leave feedback within the product and you could try uploading a custom template with the address the way you want and it may work for you as a workaround.

I tried to fake it with a custom template and putting the 2nd line onto 'City', the city into 'Postcode' and the post code into 'Telephone'... But it won't let me have alpha characters in the Telephone field.

Needs to be sorted as it really looks unprofessional to have 2 address lines merged into 1 line.

Hey Richard,

You could try making all the words in Line 1 and Line 2 separated by a non-breaking space. On a Mac it's Option + Space; on Windows it's Ctrl + Shift + Space.

Cheers ;)
