How do I add a discount box to invoices?

Hi @peterbrown108,

 

The Discount box on sales forms has 2 options, either by percentage or by value.

 

But first, let me show you how to enable this feature:

  1. From the Gear icon, select Account and Settings.
  2. Press the Sales tab.
  3. Look for the Sales form content section, then click Discount to turn it on.
  4. Hit Save, then Done.

 

Now, for the 2 options that you have for applying a discount, it will depend on your preference.

 

Discount percent, as its name states, applies a percentage discount on the total amount on an invoice.

 

 

Discount value is straightforward in the sense that whatever value you input on the box will be the discount of the total amount on the invoice.
