How do I add an estimate to projects before converting them to invoices so that I can see cashflow on job?

Hello, @ross14.

 

You need to create the estimate first either from the New (+) icon or from the Projects page.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Select Estimate from the New (+) icon.
  2. Choose the project/job name under the Customer field.
  3. Fill in the necessary information, then save the transaction.

or

 

  1. Click on Projects at the left pane.
  2. Choose the project/customer's name under the Projects window.
  3. Tap on the drop-down arrow beside Add to project, then select Estimate.
  4. Enter the estimate details.
  5. Save the transaction.

Once completed, you're now ready to convert an the estimate into an invoice. For you reference, check out this article.
