How do I add time taken for each service on an invoice so I can quickly see how many hours I’m working one month and for what money?

Hello Usermattdeacon,

Welcome to the Community page,

So you could use the single time activity to record this or you could use the weekly time sheet one as well for if you do work over multiple days for the same thing. You will see those options in the cog in the top right of Quickbooks Online. Any questions let us know

Hi,

I am on a 31 day trial so learning my way around the software. Regarding the invoicing I am confused as to how I add dates and hours worked for clients. I am a Private Housekeeper visit clients weekly and need to put the amount of hours worked and dates visited. I normally invoice them at end of the month. Look forward to your reply.

Hello Elsie 555, thanks for commenting on this post so you could instead of using invoices us single time activity or weekly timesheet to record this in Quickbooks. You can make them billable if you have the correct product or set up a product and service in the chart of accounts called hours and record all the information you need on it.
