How do I change the number of days brfore a reminder goes to a customer to pay an invoice. Currently it reminds the next day after sending it. 5 days after would be best

Thank you for posting your question about setting your reminders sending date. I'm happy to share information about it.

 

The basis of the reminder is the due date. Therefore, you'll want to count how many days before the due date the reminder will create, so it will be exactly 5 days after the invoice date. For example, if you issue the invoice today (30/07/21) with a 7-day term (due on 07/08/21), you can set the reminder to be 2 days before the due date.

 

  1. Click the Gear icon and choose Accounts and settings.
  2. Go to Sales and click the pencil icon in the Reminders section.
  3. Open the reminder you use.
  4. Set it to be 2 days before the due date.
  5. Click Save and then Done.
