How do i create a bank rule where the memo chnages by transaction?

Right now, the option to use the memo field to apply bank rules is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). You can create a bank rule with a memo. However, QBO will only use the information you entered on the Conditions and Settings fields.

Since the feature you're looking for isn't currently an option, I encourage you to submit feedback to our Product Development Team. They look through submitted feedback for future updates and use those suggestions to develop changes for the product.
