In QuickBooks Online, deleting a recorded payment from an invoice is easy. However, let's ensure you've reviewed the payment transaction before we delete them. I've also added screenshots for your reference. Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Sales menu and select Customers.
  2. Select the customer's name, and click the Transaction List tab.
  3.  Select the invoice paid and click on the 1 payment link from that invoice.
  4. Open the payment transaction.

 

 

    5. Click the More option at the bottom and choose Delete.

    6. Select Yes to complete the process.
