It's nice to see you here in the Community, @brianshields. I'll be glad to help you download your bank transactions into QuickBooks.

QuickBooks downloads transactions up to a specific date when connecting your bank and credit card accounts. Some banks allow the software to download for the last 90 days, while others allow up to 24 months.

For transactions that didn't pull up, they can be downloaded as CSV files, which you can manually import or upload into QuickBooks Online. To do so, you'll have to download the transactions from your bank since every financial institution has different steps. Then, you can open it and check if it has the correct format before you upload it. Refer to this resource for more details: Format CSV files in Excel to get bank transactions into QuickBooks.

Once done, you can follow the steps below to download the file:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Choose the blue tile for the account you want to upload the transactions.
  3. Click Upload from the file from the dropdown menu next to the Link account▼.
  4. Select Browse and then choose the file you downloaded from your bank. Then select Next.
  5. In the QuickBooks account ▼ dropdown, click the account where you want to upload the transactions. Then select Next.
  6. Follow the onscreen steps to match the columns on the file with the correct fields in QuickBooks. Then select Next.
  7. Choose the transactions you would like to import. Then select Next.
  8. Hit Yes, then click Let's Go.

For detailed instructions, follow this article: Manually upload transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Once the transactions are in QuickBooks, you can start reviewing and categorising them to ensure they're in the correct accounts.
