How do I stop credits being automatically set against an outstanding invoice?

Hello Dorothy1, There is a setting which you can turn off that automatically applies credits. If you go to the settings cog in the top right>account and settings>advanced>automation>automatically apply credits>switch to off and save and this will no llonger happen.
