I'm wondering if there is an easy way to auto detect the date format between US and UK depending on the invoice address or currency.

Hi there, Andy. I'll share some details about the date format in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

QBO doesn't support an automatic feature that can detect the date format based on the invoice location or currency. However, you can update it manually within the program. Here are the steps to follow:

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. Hit on the Gear icon located at the top right corner.
  3. Select Account and Settings, then go to the Advanced tab.
  4. Scroll down until you find the Other Preferences tab.
  5. Adjust the date format according to your preference.
  6. Click Save, and then Done.

Additionally, you can customise your sales forms to create a professional-looking template and enhance your business communications.

Please touch base with us below if there's anything else you need about managing your invoices. I look forward to helping you achieve your QuickBooks tasks moving forward.
