How long do transactions and receipts remain in QBSE?

I would like to know how long my past receipts for previous tax years will remain in QuickBooks Self Employed for?

Good day, @genuineoriginal-. I have some knowledge to share concerning the duration of transactions and tax receipts in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

 

QuickBooks Self-Employed is a cloud-based software. As a result, transactions will remain for as long as your subscription is active. You can simply select Custom date from the data drop-down to review previous transactions. See the image below for reference:

 

 

On the other hand, make sure you choose the appropriate tax year in order to retrieve receipts from previous tax years. Here's how:

 

  1. Open the Taxes menu from the left pane.
  2. Go to the Annual tab.
  3. From the year drop-down, select the correct date you want to view tax receipts.

 

That should do it! 

 

Furthermore, I recommend adding older transactions in case you're unable to see them on the account.
