How should I log Quickbook invoices?

I can show you how to create an invoice, Shetland.

 

You can follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Plus (+) icon and select Invoice.
  2. Select the customer's name from the Customer drop-down.
  3. Enter other necessary information.
  4. Select Save and close.

Sorry I guess I wasn't very clear with my question. I know how to create invoices. I'm wondering how best to record the money I spend on this accounting software Quickbooks. Do I record the  monthly subscriptions under "Legal and professional fees" or should I create a new Account in the Chart of Accounts.
