How to delete or archive old data

I have a QuickBooks file that contains transactions from 2005 up until this week.   The file is huge (>500MB) and is really slow to work with.

How can I remove/delete/purge records that are older than 1st January 2014?

As far as I know, the Condense Data utility is no longer available in QBD UK version. You may have 2 options as workaround:

1. Utilize one of these tools to migrate data as of January 1, 2014 up to now to a new company file. Make sure you setup the beginning balance for each account.

2. Purchase a 3rd party condense service to remove any data prior to 2014.
