Glad to hear from you today, Wright. Getting the converted estimate no is quick and easy, let me show you how.

You can get the converted estimated no to the invoice by opening the linked transaction. Here's how:

  1. Open the invoice transaction and click the 1 linked Estimate.
  2. Click the Estimate.
  3. You'll see the Estimate no. from there.

For more details about how an estimate works in QuickBooks, check out this article: Create and send estimates in QuickBooks Online. You'll find steps about updating an estimate status as well as pulling up relevant reports.

Feel free to drop a comment if there's anything else you need. Have a good one.

Hello Admin,

Could QB add the actual estimate number to the '1 linked estimate' so when you click '1 linked estimate' to show Type/Date/Amount the Type column says 'Estimate (number)'.

This would be a handy feature to save keep opening forms to find the estimate number.

Regards

Hi

I added a custom box, and copy the quote/estimate number to it. It then is on the invoices made from the quote.
