How to invoice somebody who does not have a Quickbooks account?

Hi, I am invoicing a client and when they click VIEW INVOICE on the email I send, it asks them to log in to QuickBooks... How can I invoice them from the mobile app so that they just get the PDF directly of the invoice? Thanks! Julio

Hello Julio,

Welcome to the Community - thank you for your question!

They should not need to login when viewing the invoice. Would you be able to resend the invoice by going to your Invoice list, selecting the drop down action column and selecting Reminder. You can change the message so it does not mention being a reminder, and this will then send out the invoice again.

Let us know if they experience the same issue with the new invoice.

Thanks,

Talia

Hi Talial!

it did not make any difference. My client gets asked to log into QuickBooks.

What do  I do?

thanks!

Non-QBO users don't need to log in to view the invoice, Julio.

Let's make sure that your client are using another browser when opening the invoice.

If they're still unable to view, please temporarily send the invoice by attaching it to your email. Then, let your client click on the attached PDF file to view it.

In the meantime, I'd recommend reaching out to our Support Team to get more help with QuickBooks Self-Employed.
