I accidently deleted an invoice I am still waiting to be paid. Is there a way to retrieve this invoice?

Let me help you re-create a deleted transaction, Dan.

 

Once a transaction is deleted in QuickBooks Online, there's no option to recover it. However, we can retrieve the details and re-create an invoice.

 

Here's how to do it:

 

  1. In the Gear icon, select Audit Log.
  2. Select user, date, and event(s) from the Filter drop-down.
  3. Click on Apply.
  4. Find the deleted transaction.
  5. Select View under the History column.
  6. You can find all the information needed under the Event column.

 

Take note of the details and re-create the transaction with its original date then you're good to go.
