Question

I am currently reviewing my transactions against my invoices. When I enter on the search bar either the cheque number or amount, it brings back nothing. The software used to do this - seems it doesnt now though.

When experiencing unexpected behavior, It’s likely caused by local internet cache files stored up in the system that needs clearing. Let's perform a few browser troubleshooting solutions to isolate the issue. 

 

You can start by accessing QBO using a private window then search for specific contact or transaction. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

  • Command + Shift + N (Safari)
  • Ctrl+ Shift + N (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Mozilla Firefox)

 

If it works, clear the cache to fix the unexpected behavior in the product. Here’s an article to help with the process: Delete browser cache and temporary Internet files.
