Question

I am having problems with invoice template. I select default for my new template and everytime get the original template when i go to make my invoice, any idea why ?

Hello Usergavin,  

 

Welcome to the Community page, 

 

If you are creating a new invoice then it should show you in customise on the invoice the default one you have selected, if you are going into an already created invoice transaction then you would need to click on the customise and click on the default option, it will always have the the standard one showing for you.

Thanks for the reply.

The problem i have is when i click on the template that i request, that has already been made default, the template does not change it just stays the original.

I have checked that my template has loaded and i can see it in a pdf on viewer, but when it comes to selecting it to use it just wont load and im stuck with the original screen.

Thanks for getting back to us Gavin, are you applying the template to an invoice that was created from an estimate (progress invoicing) or to a new invoice? 

 

To check for any cache issue that may be impacting this I'd be grateful if you could sign-in on a private browsing window (on Chrome, select the 3 dots in the top-right > new incognito window on the drop-down) and go to the Cog > Custom form styles and then change the default back to the standard template, before switching back to your new template and then previewing an invoice.
