I am importing invoices and the message which is default on the invoice settings does not come up

I am importing invoices using csv. The invoice uses the default invoice settings but the message/memo typed into the template does not appear on the invoice

Hi shifra1 Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community. Is the memo something that is on the CSV file you imported or are you referring to the memo on the default template within the custom form styles section of QuickBooks?

both are a problem

the memo on the template disappears when using the import from csv system 

additionally if you plot the info in the memo field then it turns up in the statement box on the edit invoice setting

The memo field in the import template matches the message in the statement field of the transaction. Verify this by reviewing transactions by date and ensuring that the memo field content matches the customer field.  

 

Meanwhile, when importing a CSV file, remember to check the format. The memo field that turns up in the statement box on the edit invoice setting is still unavailable. For now, we can upload them manually.  

 

I recommend submitting your suggestion for this functionality to our product engineers. It'll help us better understand users' needs and improve their experience. Here's how: 

  

  1. Select Settings, then Feedback. 
  1. Enter your comments or product suggestions.  
  1. Then select Next to submit feedback.
