I am unable to raise CIS invoices through the app. Is this feature not available?

Hi alworthsconstruc It's not possible to create transactions related to CIS using the app.🙇🏻‍♂️ You can however create CIS transactions using a computer or using a browser on your mobile device. We appreciate this may be an important function for you to have on the app and therefore we'll certainly raise your comments to our developers for their consideration.

Has there been any update to being able to create a CIS invoice in the app?

My client could easily do this on the Xero app, but I recommended switching to Quickbooks and he is very dissatisfied with the quickbooks app.  He can't send invoices on the app because it doesn't allow him to include CIS deductions.

Also the receipt capturing for his expenses is really slow and not as easy as the receipt capture he used in Xero.  It is taking him 10 times longer to simply capture a receipt and most the time the app is saying it is unable to capture the details on the receipt - I thought the idea of quickbooks was to help save business owners time, not make everything take more time?

Hi joanne28, thanks for adding to this post. It isn't great to hear that QuickBooks hasn't been saving you or your client time. 

 

The CIS feature remains unavailable in the QuickBooks Online mobile app but can be accessed through the web version on a browser app (Safari for iOS and Chrome for Android). 

 

We've passed feedback onto our app development team regarding sensitivity for the snap receipt feature so that this can be addressed in a future app update. Thanks again.
