I can email invoices to customers but not Statements -WHY?

Are there additional settings required to email customer Statements. I can send invoices via email but Statements nothing happens and nothing is sent

Hello SMB56, thanks for reaching out to the Community

 

We're not aware of any current issues sending customer statements from QuickBooks Online. 

 

Statements can be emailed to your customer by going to the Customer tab > select the drop-down beside the customer > Create statement. On the following screen, check that the email field is complete and click Save and send.

 

If your customer does not receive the email to their inbox, please direct them to check all spam/junk folders. They can also add Intuit's service email address to their email's safe sender list to ensure that they are able to receive future Intuit emails.

 

If you need a temporary solution in the meantime, you can download the statement (from the Print or Preview option on the toolbar) to email direct.
