Welcome to the Community forum, @alexocleary39. I appreciate you raising your query here.

I understand the importance of knowing if your customers have viewed their invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Let me guide you through the steps on how:

  1. In your QBO account, go to the Sales tab, then select Invoices.
  2. Locate and click on the invoice you want to know the activity of.
  3. Look at the Invoice activity. Note: If the Viewed is highlighted, it means that your customer has opened the invoice you sent. See the image below for visual reference.

Moreover, I'll also share this article that can serve as your reference if you want to learn how to personalise and add specific info to your sales forms: Customise invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Feel free to leave a reply if you have additional QuickBooks-related queries. The Community team always has your back. Have a good one.

It's my priority to help you with opening invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO), alexocleary39.

We can perform some troubleshooting steps to fix this. There are times when the browser is full of frequently accessed page resources, which causes some errors or unusual responses.

Let's start accessing your account using a different or private browser. You can use either of these shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

Once logged in, try to run payroll again. If it works, I recommend clearing your browser's cache. Doing so will remove the historical data and access QuickBooks with a clean slate. You can also switch to a different supported browser.

In addition to that, to personalise and add specific info to your sales forms, you can utilize this article for more ideas. By doing this, you'll have an attractive, professional-looking invoice: Customise sales forms.

You're more than welcome to visit this thread again if need any other help with managing your sales transactions. Have a good one!
