I can’t scan my receipt. App is saying I have to refresh. I’m refreshing but no changes

In most cases, the accumulated cache data on your app is the common reason why QuickBooks Online features and functionalities aren’t working.


Aside from refreshing, you can also update your app manually or set your mobile device to auto-update. It enhances your QuickBooks app, speeds up its operation, and promotes stability.


Android

 

  1. Tap Play Store, then select the Main menu.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Click Auto-update apps, and choose one of the following:
    • Auto-update apps over Wi-Fi only. (Recommended)
    • Auto-update apps at any time. Data charges may apply.


iOS

 

  1. Tap Settings.
  2. Click your name.
  3. Select iTunes & App Store and make sure that Updates is turned on.


Another way to get rid of performance issues is by uninstalling and then reinstalling the app.
