Question

I can't send an invoice - the Send button is not active. Never happened before. I've updated Chrome and checked email address under Customers. Anyone any ideas? Thanks

Let me assist you in enabling the send button on your invoice page, Philip.

I've checked this option, and it works fine. There are times when the saved data in your browser's cache can become outdated, leading to unusual behavior in the program. To resolve this issue, I recommend performing the browser troubleshooting method.

Let's start by logging into QuickBooks Online using a private browsing window. Once logged in, create a test invoice and select Save and New. If the transaction processes successfully, you can return to your regular browser and clear the browser's cache. This can also be done in other supported,  up-to-date browsers. Clearing the cache will resolve issues caused by stored data and cookies.

Here are the shortcut keys to access an incognito browser:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N

I've added a screenshot to show you the available options when saving an invoice.
