Question

I cannot review my transactions (income and expenditure) that I have entered for the month. Normally they are just there but it is completely blank

I'll ensure you're able to review your transaction in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

 

May I know if you're using a browser or mobile app to review your transactions? If you're on a browser, you may be unable to see them due to some browser issues. Too much cache stored on a browser can cause unexpected behavior like this. Let's do some troubleshooting steps to fix this. 

 

You can start by accessing your account using an incognito window. Here are the shortcut keys:

 

  • Google Chrome: Press CTRL + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: Press CTRL + Shift + P.
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N.

 

Once signed in, you can check if you're to review entered transactions. Also, let's clear the cache to remove unwanted internet files and helps improve the performance of your browser. Alternatively, you can use different supported browsers. If you're using the mobile app, you can clear app data to remove the stored cache. 

 

For Android:

 

  1. Go to device Settings, then Apps.
  2. Select the QuickBooks app.
  3. Tap Storage, then click Clear data.

 

For iOS:

 

  1. Go to the device Settings, then General.
  2. Tap iPhone Storage.
  3. Locate the app the taking a lot of space.
  4. Click Offload App to free up the storage.

I am also having issues similar to this.  I updated my bank feed this morning and any expenses have been deducted from the bank account total but there are no transactions to reconcile.  therefore the bank will not match Quickbooks.  I have tried all troubleshooting measures with online chat but nothing has changed.  I have disconnected and reconnected the bank account, cleared cache and cookies, used incognito mode and different browsers but nothing changes.  Any help much appreciated
