Hello there, @janet-educationa.

Let me share some information about an invoice icon that is not showing in your mobile app.

If you are new ios and web customer, you need to turn the invoicing on or off.

Here's how to turn it on or off:

  1. Go to your profile icon in your QBSE App.
  2. Scroll down and select Settings.
  3. Under Invoicing, there will be a toggle switch to turn on.
  4. Once you turn it on, there will be a pop-up to log it out.
  5. Click Ok.
  6. Log back in to see the invoice tab.

Here is an article you can check to learn more about creating invoices: Create invoices in QuickBooks Self-Employed.

I’ve tried switching them on in settings but no such switch exists.

Thanks for joining the thread and following the suggested steps that were shared above, @aidenplumber-gma.

Let's sort this out so you can send your invoices in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE) mobile app. You can uninstall and reinstall the app to fix the issue. Here's how:

To download QuickBooks Mobile App for iOS device:

  1. Open the App Store on your device and search for QuickBooks Self-Employed.
  2. Select Free, then click Install.
  3. If you are already signed up for QBSE, use the same user ID and password to sign in to the app.
  4. You may be asked to confirm a one-time confirmation code to confirm your identity. Once confirmed, you can continue with your account.

For Andriod apps, follow these steps:

  1. Open Google Play on your device and search for QuickBooks Self-Employed
  2. Select Install.
  3. If you are already signed up for QBSE, use the same user ID and password to sign in to the app.
  4. You may be asked to enter a one-time code to confirm your identity. Once confirmed, you can continue with your account.

If you're having problems signing in to the app, make sure you're using the same credentials you used when signing in on a web browser.
