Question

I have a single bank transaction comprising over 100 payroll payments of different classes. Is there an easier way to split, without adding 100 rows?

I'm thrilled to show you how to split a transaction in QuickBooks Online, (customer), to ensure you have all the necessary details. to ensure you have all the necessary details.

You can easily split a transaction into different classes. However, if this involves 100 separate entries, you must set up 100 individual rows.

I'm adding this article to guide you in splitting a transaction: Categorize and split online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

For future reference, refer to this article in creating bank rules: Set up bank rules to categorise online banking transactions in QuickBooks Online.
