Question

I have always had trouble with the invoice template; part way through my address it inserts a line with the letters "NA" and I can't seem to remove them. Help!

Hey there, @jay-aircon.

I've come to help you get this invoice template issue sorted out, so you'll be able to use this form perfectly.

Let's go ahead and double-check the template that you're currently using to see if the NA letters are heading there. This way, we can remove them so you can get back to business.

To do that:

  1. Go to Gear icon at the top, then select on Custom Form Styles
  2. Look for the template that you're using and hit on Edit.
  3. Refer to the Content tab and press on the header portion of the sample template.
  4. Click on Address.
  5. If there NA letters are there, you may remove them and hit on Done

However, if everything was set up correctly and the problem continues, I recommend accessing your account using a private window and generate an invoice from there.

Browsing from a Private Window prevents the browser from collecting the cache file, and also disables any data that were gathered. Since these files can often become outdated or corrupted and my lead to odd behavior. This allows you to access QuickBooks with a fresh slate to see if it resolves the issue.

If it works fine, you can go back to your regular browser and clear its cache. This removes the unnecessary files and refreshes the program.
