Question

I have categorised a transaction. A day later I snapped the receipt. The amount is the same as the categorised transaction but, it won’t match!

Hi j-griffiths135-b, thanks for joining the Community. 

 

Please note that it is only possible to match to transactions in home currency (most commonly GBP). 

 

If QuickBooks can’t find an existing transaction that matches, you can create a new transaction from your receipt:

 

1. Select Review to make corrections or add missing info.
2. Select Save and next.
3. Select Create bill or Create expense.

 

To prevent any duplication, be sure to delete (or undo and exclude from the banking) the original categorised transaction.
