Hello Wenden-newquay-h,

Welcome to the Community page,

If you have a look at this link it shows you how to upload your reciepts into your Quickboks online account. If you want to email receipts to Quickbooks online this link will help you.

I have done what the link said but I still don't see a way of getting the photo receipts from my phone to my desk top. They don't upload automatically so how do I get them on to my desk top?

Thanks for getting back to us, @wenden-newquay-h. I’ll provide you with the steps to upload receipts into QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT).

You may collect and upload receipts and bills from your mobile device using the QuickBooks Online mobile app. To get your receipts snapshot into your QBDT, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Select Receipt Management from the Vendor menu.
  2. Select the Intuit Account that will be used to store the company file.
  3. Select browse to upload, then select your receipts, or drag and drop your receipts into QuickBooks.

For a detailed step-by-step process of uploading receipts to QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus, Premier Plus or Enterprise. You can check out this article: Upload receipts to QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus, Premier Plus or Enterprise.

Let me know in the comments if you have further questions with receipts. I’m just one post away from assisting you. Have a great day!

I have asked this question many times now, and I keep getting the same answer. You tell me how to get the receipt onto my phone, which I already know how to do, but your not telling me how to get it from my phone to my desk top. It doesn't go automatically, so what do I do after I've pressed Done.

Hi there, wenden-newquay-h.

Can you tell us what version or QuickBooks you're using? Do you have QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop? I'm asking these questions because the steps for uploading receipts are different for each version of QuickBooks. We're just want to make sure that we're giving you the right steps to help with your question.

Please add a reply below to share more details. We look forward to it.

Hi there, wenden-newquay-h.

Do you log in to your account using a web browser or through this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com? If so, it means you're using QuickBooks Online. The program also looks like this:

If you log in to your company file through an application that's installed in your computer, it means you have QuickBooks Desktop.
