I can share with you a few details about why you're getting different currency when importing transactions, laura-summers198.

The currency of the downloaded transactions depends on the region you are using. It can be that we signed up for the US region, that is why they are showing dollars instead of pounds.

We can bring the correct currency of the downloaded transactions by signing up to the right region.  Here's the right for you to sign up: https://uk.selfemployed.intuit.com/login#. Enter your email address, first and last name, phone number, and your password. Once you're ready, click the Sign Up button.

Afterwards, connect the bank to your book to download transactions. At this time, those transactions will now show as pounds.

I'd like to have you back and guide you if you have questions about QuickBooks Self-Employed. Thanks!

The same thing is happening with my American Express credit card - it's showing in $ and not £ (although the figures are the same).  My other accounts are showing correctly in £.  Is there a way round this?
