I have logged in today and all my contacts, transactions and invoices have gone? Please help

When no data is available upon logging in to the account, It might be possible that you are signed in to a different account, or this is caused by a browser-related issue. To start, let's check if there's a separate account associated with your user ID or email. We can get the user ID info by clicking on the I forgot my user ID or Password link from the Sign in page. Then, open your email and review the notification. 

 

If you only have one user ID, our next step is to perform the basic troubleshooting steps in your QuickBooks account. Sometimes, missing data can be the result of a corrupted file cache stored in your browser. To do this, open an incognito or private browser. Using this mode won't retain your cookies, browsing history, search records, or files you downloaded, which helps isolate any browser-related problems.

 

Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Safari: Command Option P

 

Next, sign in to your QuickBooks Online account and review your contacts and transactions. If the data is available, let's go back your regular browser and clear its cache. Clearing your cache data helps to troubleshoot, increase the loading time of web pages and the performance of your computer.

 

Finally, please be sure to close the browser and restart it after clearing the cache and cookies. Alternatively, you can use a different supported browser.
