Correct addresses assist in maintaining accurate records for both your business and the recipient, Skillteam. I can help you make your invoices reflect the appropriate address.

To ensure the correct location appears on your invoices, let's update the customer-facing address. This approach will prevent the old address from appearing on your current invoices. I'd be happy to guide you through the process.

Here's how:

  1. Click on the Gear icon at the top right corner of the screen and select Account and Settings.
  2. Select the Company tab on the left side of the screen.
  3. Hit the Pencil icon next to the Customer-facing address section.
  4. You may click Same as company address or enter a different one. Then, Save
  5. Once you have saved the changes, navigate to the main dashboard and create a new invoice. The updated address should now appear on the invoice.

Alternatively, you may prefer to use a different invoice template to see if the issue persists while on pre-created forms.

However, if you've completed these steps already and your invoices still display the old address, the issue might be due to a cache-related issue. If this is the case, you can perform some troubleshooting steps. First, use a private or incognito window to rule out cache problems in your browser.

Here are the shortcut keys:

  • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

After that, log in to your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account and check if the same thing happens. If it works, clear your browser's cache to remove the webpage data causing the issue. If a private browser doesn't work, use other installed supported browsers.
