I’m having issues when forwarding an email receipt the QB doesn’t recognise this. tried screen shot attachments which also doesn’t work. Is there a way around this?

Let me share some info about this feature, userryan2!

 

When you send a receipt to QuickBooks Online, we need to make sure that the file is readable or not blurry. This may be the reason why you're having issues with it. Additionally, the file must be either PDF, jpeg, jpg, gif, or png image formats.

 

Once uploaded the receipt, you’ll see them in the Receipts tab so you can review them.

  1. Go to the Banking menu or Transactions menu.
  2. Select the Receipts tab.

If the data being extracted doesn't match in the receipt, you can edit them.

  1. From the Action drop-down, click Review.
  2. Tap < Edit receipt details, enter the correct Receipt details.
  3. Select Save and next, then Create expense.
