I've come to help make sure you're able to change your invoice payment date, @jamesplumbing-li.

You can create new payment terms which include 14 days from the invoice date letting your customers have 2 weeks to prepare for the invoice payment. I'll show you how.

  1. Go to Sales.
  2. Select Invoices.
  3. Choose one from any of the listed invoices.
  4. Click Edit invoice.
  5. Under Terms, select +Add new.
  6. Enter Net 14 in the Name text area.
  7. Type 14 in the Days field below the Due in fixed number of days option.
  8. Select Save.
  9. Click Save and send or Save and close to confirm the changes made.

Now that you've updated your invoices' payment dates, I'm including this reference for the steps in creating a document for your clients showing what is due for a certain number of days: Create and Send Statements in QuickBooks Online. This way, you can remind them and let them prepare the needed payment for your invoices.

I've got you covered if you have other questions aside from working with your invoices in QuickBooks. Use the Reply option below to leave a comment and don't forget to include my name, @JonpriL. Take care always and stay safe!
