I pay for expenses throughout Europe with varying tax rates - such as hotels have a 6% Tax, car hire is 21% and such like. How do I enter this into QB? Novice....

You can add your own tax rates by going to the Taxes tab and 'Edit VAT'. Select 'Edit rates' and then 'Add tax rate'. We do always advise to speak to an accountant before doing this as we unfortunately cannot advise which account to use as we are not accountant trained.
