Question

I've set up billable asset accounts. The same billable expense account is used when I create an expense and an invoice. But not in my current entity, why?

Welcome, and thank you for posting here in the Community, Lyvio. We'd love to help you out with this.

But before that, can you share more details about the current entity? We want to ensure we're giving you the right information and steps to resolve your concern.

In the meantime, you can look at this article to learn how to record billable expenses in QuickBooks Plus and Advanced: Enter Billable Expense in QuickBooks Online.

Furthermore, check out this article to know what are the available vendor reports that you can use for your billable expenses transactions. I've added this resource for reference: Reports Included in your QuickBooks Online Subscription.

Post it here in the Community if you have any other concerns about the current entity or billable expenses. We're always right here to help you.
