Hello there, @charlietl.

Let me share details on how you can customize your invoices in QuickBooks. This way, you'll be able to determine the form style that fits your business.

There are default custom form styles that are available for you in the system. Moving your items at the top of your invoice and moving the invoice to box to the right side is currently not an option since the layouts are fixed. However, there are a variety of form styles that you can choose from namely the Airy new, Airy classic, Modern, Fresh, Bold, and Friendly.

To customise your invoices, here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Custom Form Styles.
  3. Click the New Style button, then select Invoice.
  4. Select the Design tab.
  5. Enter the name of the template.
  6. Select Change up the template to choose a layout.
  7. Click Add your unique logo to upload a new logo.
  8. Select Splash on some colour to pick a colour scheme.
  9. Choose a different font to change the font and size.
  10. Select Edit print settings to adjust the margins.

Once done, continue in personalising your invoice information by referring to this article's Step 3: Customise the info on your formsCustomise invoices, estimates, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online. It also contains details about changing your email message, turning on online payments, and editing your customised template to name a few.

Furthermore, importing your customised form styles for your is available in Quickbooks Online. For the complete details, kindly check out this article: Import custom form styles for invoices or estimates. It even contains FAQs about importing custom for styles.
