Question

I was late to reconfirm the connection to my bank account. Now no transactions past June will show up. Any ideas anyone?

Congratulations on making your first post here, @Delia-6. Receiving transactions on time is essential to know how your business is doing. I'm here to guide you through reconfirming the connection of your bank account.

Open Banking requires you to reconfirm your consent every 90 days. This will update your bank connection and transactions. Due to noticing it late, no transactions past June show up.

To proceed, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to Bookkeeping, and then Transactions.
  2. You may see Transactions and then Banking.
  3. Select the ▼dropdown arrow next to Link Accounts.
  4. Press Manage connections.
  5. Next to the bank that you need to reconfirm consent for, select the More ⋮ icon.
  6. Tap Manage consent, and click Reconfirm.
  7. Pick OK to confirm.

You can check out this guide for the complete steps of withdrawing or seeing a history of all your past consents: How to reconsent your bank feed connection in QuickBooks Online.

If the transactions from June don't appear after performing the steps above, visit these resources to consider manually updating your bank or uploading transactions:

Once done, open the resources below to review transactions and reconcile your accounts:

This should help you successfully reconfirm the connection between your bank account and QuickBooks Online. You can drop your comment below if you need help managing transactions. I'm just around to help.
