I wish to create separate sales accounts to track different types of sales invocie and spilits within the invoice. i.e. recovered expenses - foreign sales UK sales etc

Welcome to the Community space, chris-lee.

 

I'll share so you can track different types of sales in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

In QBO, you'll have the option to assign your product and services to a different sales account. This way, you can track your sales per account. I'll show you how.

 

  1. Go to the Sales menu, then Product and services tab.
  2. Select New if you want to add a new product and service or Click Edit if it's already created.
  3. Enter necessary details if it's a new product. For the ones already created, hit the dropdown under Income account. 
  4. You can create a new income account or choose any income account from the list.
  5. Once done, click Save and close.
