I would like a memo section on my invoices like i had on desktop. i used this to search a particular job , can it be done

I understand that you need to add a memo to the invoice. Let me assist you!

 

You can also add a memo to the invoice in QuickBooks Online. You can enter it on the Message on statement field. This can be searched using the Memo filter on the Advanced Search. Follow these steps:

  1. Create an invoice as you normally do. Add the memo in the Message on statement box.
  2. Select the Magnifying Glass icon and click Advanced Search.
  3. The second drop-down is defaulted to Reference no. Change it to Memo.
  4. Enter the memo or keyword in the box provided. Tap Search.

 

Also, you can find the transaction in the register.
