Import of incorrect data

Hi - I'm a recent user,  using the Self Employed version of QB - I've imported additional data from a CSV file but its imported the incorrect column, i.e. the balance column rather than the individual transaction column - I can see how to exclude these transactions but I can't work out how to delete these incorrect,  now excluded, imports - is this feasible in the Self Employed version ?

 

Any help gratefully received.

Welcome to the Community space, @Willsey12.

 

Allow me to help you clear things out. Know that you can only delete a transaction that you've manually added to the account, and if the transactions are downloaded from your bank then you can only exclude them.

 

If you see this as a helpful feature in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE). I recommend sending feedback to our software engineers. 

 

They may consider adding this to our future products updates, here's how:

 

  1. Route your cursor on the upper right corner of your screen and click the Assistant icon.
  2. There will be a prompt chatbox, enter "send feedback".a
  3. A reply will show, then select and click Add a feature.
  4. When asked, we can type something like "Let the tags work on the report overview."
  5. Send the input, then hit Yes.

Many thanks for the reply - that is a pity, whilst my mistake in first instance, seems a shame that a 'delete' function is not available as I've now got loads of excluded transactions sat in my database and I'm going to need to import the data again to sit above or below these in the data listing - Ill add to the wish list.
